Shaws Trip 8/31 Breakdown

So some of you have asked for a breakdown of my Shaws trip on Friday so here it is!

This week at Shaws when you buy (wyb) 10 Kraft Items you get $5 off instantly, here are the items I purchased:
1 - OM Deli Meat, $4.50, found a package with a $2.00 Shaws coupon, and I also used my FREE coupon that I got in the mail, so the $2.00 applied towards the rest of my order.
6 Kraft Singles -  Used (2) .50/1 Shaws Ticket coupons, and (2) $1/1 coupons along with (2) $1/2 coupons.
1- Miracle Whip, Used (1) $1/1 coupon
2- OM Hot Dogs, Used (2) .50/1 Shaws Ticket coupons and (2) $1/1 coupons
1- Johnsonville Dinner Sausage used $2/1 coupon that printed with my reciept
8- Doritos
2- Wheat Thins I used (1) Free Coupon from MyCoke Rewards
1- Ritz Used .50/1 Shaws ticket coupon, and FREE box wyb 2 boxes
1- Triscut
2- Earthbound Organic Carrots, used (2) .75/1 coupon that double so FREE
2- Bush Grillin' Beans, used (1) $1/2 coupon
6 Coke Product Sodas - On sale for B2G1 and there were hang tags for $1/3 so I used 2 of those coupons
2 - Pizza Crust
1 Pack of Pepperoni
1- Cheese Chunk
4- Edys Ice Creams, save $3 instantly wyb 3 items
10 Ears of Corn

Also this week wyb 2 Boxes of Nature Valley or Fiber One get $1 off instantly
2- Fiber One Chewy Bars, used (2) .60/1 coupons
2- Fiber One Brownies, used (2) .60/1 coupons
2- NV Protein, used (2) .60/1 coupons

Grand Total of $68.33
SAVINGS OF: $123.37 or 65% savings!

Where to Order Coupons?!

Some of you may noticed that I had stocked up on the Heinz ketchup that was on sale this week at Shaws for 2/$4.  I was lucky and had purchased some .50/1 Heinz coupons online and got each bottle of ketchup for only $1 for a 40 oz bottle!  That's a super great deal! 

There's three websites that I order from and are very reiliable:

www.thecouponclippers.com

The Coupon Clippers is were I purchased the Heinz coupons.  Most sites you have to purchase atleast $5 or The Coupon Clippers you had to purchase atleast $3.95, so I bought some other high value coupons to raise my total. Each Heinz coupon was .10 and there was a limit of 10 so I bought ten, so I paid $1 for 10 coupons, which is a super deal.

Being able to see the Shaws Ad on Mondays is a HUGE advantage because that gives you 4 extra days to find out what's on sale and to start searching for coupons.

Dinner on the Cheap!

Pasta Salad

My family loves Pasta Salad for dinner during the summer, especailly on nights when we have softball games or practice, it's quick and easy and can be made ahead of time. I am going to list the ingredients and the price that I paid for them so you can see the total cost.

1- Box of Ronzoni Garden Delight (Free)

1- Bottle of Kens Italian Salad Dressing (Free)

1 - Onion (Bought on sale for .99 for a 2lb bag, with 4 onions, .25)

1- Green Pepper (Got in the clearance section for .95/2 so .48)

1/2 Stick of Sharp Cheese ($1.68 for the whole thing after coupon so .84)

1/2 a pack of Pepperoni ($1.98 for the pack, so .99)

This will feed my family of 5 at a total cost of $2.56

or .51 a serving!
